8-Day Cairo, Luxor & Aswan Tour with Nile Cruise & Flights

After breakfast, your private guide will meet you and take you to the fantastic Giza Plateau, where the renowned Pyramids of Giza have remained for many centuries. Tour the three Pyramids that are said to have been built for kings Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure. Hear about their construction, and listen to legends of the famous rulers of ancient Egypt. There, also observe the Great Sphinx; this creature has a lion’s body, a king's head, and acts as protector to the Plateau.

Travel next to the Egyptian Museum on Tahrir Square; it is a great treasure house of objects that portray the ancient Egyptian civilisation. Observe magnificent statues, royal tombs, and many valuable sarcophagi, as well as jewelry and mummies within the building. The highlights of the ancient wonders will be introduced to you by your guide, and they will provide you with an amazing illustration of the rulers of Ancient Egypt.

Have lunch at an authentic restaurant, then drive in an air-conditioned, comfortable transport to the Old Quarter of Cairo. This district holds many religious sites. Visit the Hanging Church with its elegant construction, and the Church of Abu Serga, thought to have offered shelter to the Holy Family. Additionally, a visit to the Ben Ezra Synagogue will be included; this is one of the oldest Jewish sites in the capital.

Finally, a walk around the Khan El Khalili Bazaar, a picturesque souk where spices, local crafts, jewellery, trinkets, and various items of souvenir value can be purchased. A return transfer to your hotel will be made upon the conclusion of the tour. Your day will end with a visit to Ben Ezra Synagogue, one of the oldest Jewish houses of worship in the capital.

At the end of your day, you will take your trip back to your hotel you will finally enjoy a stroll through Khan El Khalili Bazaar, a fascinating covered bazaar where you can purchase spices, handicrafts, jewelry, souvenirs, and much more.

After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Giza, then you will be transferred to Cairo international airport to take your domestic flight to Luxor, where we will meet you and transfer to our 5-star Nile Cruise and start your Nile journey from Luxor to Aswan.

Have your lunch on board after embarkation, then we start the East Bank tour in Luxor, Luxor temple (which is considered one of the best in Egypt, it was built by King Amenhotep III and other kings. It has remarkable massive statues, large chambers, fine reliefs), then back to your ship for relaxation and a tasty cooked dinner.

After your breakfast on board, explore the west bank of Luxor, including Colossi of Memnon, the Valley of the Kings, and Queen Hatshepsut's temple with your guide, and go back to the board for lunch while sailing toward Edfu. Enjoy your Nile view from the deck. Enjoy dinner with entertainment on board with music and a belly dance show at night. An optional hot air balloon flight for a splendid view of Luxor can be added on request.

After having breakfast on board, we sail to Kom Ombo, and we have time to visit its specific temple consecrated to the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon god Haroeris, and also visit Edfu to see its marvelous and unique temple. Lunch on board while we cruise to Aswan, with its stunning landscape of the Nile, dinner, and a Nubian show in the evening.

After your breakfast on the Nile Cruise, enjoy exploring the greatest attractions in Aswan, which include the High Dam, which is considered a proof of modern Egypt, and after this visit, the great and interesting Unfinished Obelisk of Queen Hatshepsut, which represents one more great example of how the old builders carved their stone. Afterward, you will get back to the Nile cruise for a delicious lunch and relax on the Nile sailing. A refreshing dinner will also be served for you on the Nile Cruise for the evening.

After breakfast, you may take a free optional trip to the stunning Abu Simbel Temples by flight or by road to witness the giant statues of Ramses II. Upon your return, you have breakfast on board the Nile Cruise and check out. Then transfer to Aswan Airport to take the domestic flight back to Cairo. You will be met by our representatives upon arrival in Cairo and transferred to your hotel in Giza.

You will enjoy a final breakfast at the hotel. A lovely beginning to your last day in Cairo. You are also free to spend the morning relaxing or doing some final shopping in the city if you wish.
