Your Luxor day tour continues to Coptic Cairo and the Citadel tour. Itinerary

After being picked up from your hotel in Luxor by our representative, and transferred to Luxor International Airport for your domestic flight to Cairo. Upon arrival, your tour guide will meet you to start your day tour in Cairo. 

You will be driven to the Giza Plateau to see the Great Pyramids of Cheops (Khufu), Chephren, and Mycerinus, and then the Sphinx and the Valley Temple, where the mummification rituals were performed, and this is what is considered the peak of ancient Egyptian civilization. 

Then drive to the Egyptian Museum to be surrounded by the largest collection of artifacts in the world. Afterwards, you will proceed to Old Cairo, where you will visit the Hanging Church, the Church of St. Sergius, and the Ben Ezra Synagogue. 

You will have lunch at a nice restaurant. Then visit Islamic Cairo, where you can find Khan el Khalili Bazaar and Muizz Street to wander around in a lively street full of traditional stalls of souvenirs, spices, and many others. 

Finally, you will be driven to Cairo Airport for your return flight back to Luxor, where our representative will meet you to take you back to your hotel.

    • All transfer services from any hotel or residence or Nile Cruise in Luxor will be arranged by our representative at the time of your pick-up and transfer to.
    • Your round-trip domestic plane ticket from Cairo and return to Luxor is included in the trip.
    • All your transfers will be in a modern, A/C vehicle at the time of your Cairo day trip tour.
    • You will be escorted by a licensed, experienced Egypt tour guide on your Egypt day tour and tours in Cairo.
    • Entrance fees to the Pyramids complex at Giza and the Egyptian Museum, along with any sights that we would mention in the day tour, are included.
    • Shopping time in Cairo will be possible to be organized upon request.
    • You will be provided with a bottle of mineral water and soft drinks while you are in Cairo for your day tour and shopping.
    • All taxes and service charges for your Luxor to Cairo day trip by plane are all included in the trip price.
  • Exclusions
    • Any gratuities (tips) are not included in tour costs and will be entirely at the client's discretion.
    • Entry fees for inside the Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu) are not included.
