7 Days Egypt Culture Tour Package – Cairo & Luxor

After a relaxing morning at your hotel, it is time for an adventurous Egypt sightseeing tour. Travel to the renowned Giza Plateau with its Great Pyramids of Giza built by the four-dynasty kings Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure and one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Continue your Egypt culture tour of Cairo visiting the great Sphinx and the Valley Temple of King Khafre then travel on to the most incredible archaeological treasure, Saqqara where you will find the Step pyramid of King Djoser, considered to be the oldest large stone structure in the world. From Saqqara you can also visit the Necropolis where you will be able to see the incredibly decorated Mastabas that show scenes of daily life in ancient Egypt. Later in your Egypt trip, proceed to Memphis, the former capital of ancient Egypt built by King Narmer and explore the alabaster Sphinx and massive Ramses II statue. It is also possible to view the sound and light show at the Pyramids in the evening. Overnight in Cairo.

Following breakfast in Cairo you embark on a tour of the Egyptian capital, where a visit is made to the world renowned Egyptian Museum containing remarkable antiquities and treasures. Marvel at the superb display and, of course, the treasures of the tomb of King Tutankhamun and his Golden Mask.

Your Egyptian cultural tour moves on to Old Cairo, visiting both the Abu Serga Church where the Holy Family rested, and the Ben Ezra Synagogue (one of the oldest in Egypt) discover this important part of Coptic Cairo and a part of Christianity in Egypt.

Visit the splendid Citadel of Salah El Din and its amazing Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque, probably the most recognized Islamic building in the city, before ending your day of touring the old and new cities of Cairo at the fun-filled Khan El Khalili Bazaar, where time will be given for some traditional souvenir shopping!

Later you will be transferred to Giza Railway Station to catch your sleeper train to Luxor. Dinner is served on the train and you will spend the night on board.

Breakfast will be served on the train prior to our arrival in Luxor-the largest open-air museum in the world. Upon arrival you will be met by our representative and transfer to your hotel for check in.

Begin the Luxor tour visiting the west bank of the Nile. Our first stop will be the two huge Colossi of Memnon, the statues of Amenhotep III, and proceed to the fabulous Valley of the Kings, where magnificent tombs of the pharaohs were hidden within the mountain.

Continue the sightseeing to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari, perhaps the most beautiful in Egypt. After touring, you will be taken back to your hotel. The rest of the evening is free.

Optional for the evening: Sound and Light Show at Karnak Temple. Overnight in Luxor.

 You will meet with your Egyptologist guide and enjoy an amazing day tour of Karnak Temple, the largest religious complex built in Ancient Egypt. You will be able to walk through amazing Hypostyle hall, which contain enormous columns and you will know about the holy history of this wonderful temple complex. After that you will head towards Luxor Temple, which built by Amenhotep 3 and Ramsses 2 and it is dedicate to god Amun. It played a significant role during various celebrations and rituals in the ancient world. Upon completing Luxor East Bank tour, you will be transferred to Luxor Train station to take the sleeper train to Cairo. Dinner & overnight will be provided in the train.

After breakfast, you will have the opportunity of a full day trip to Alexandria from Cairo by modern a/c coach. You will visit the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa the biggest and best preserved Roman catacomb in Egypt.

Next is a visit to Citadel of Qaitbay situated on the Mediteranian at the same place where existed the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. You will also be driven to visit the Bibliotheca Alexandrina (outside only). One of the largest and most notable libraries and cultural centers in the world and the modern Bibliotheca Alexandrina is one of the great cultural sites of Egypt.

After breakfast, enjoy the leisure at your hotel, then our representative will pick you up to Cairo International airport for your last departure.
